Q.     What does ex-chainstore mean?

A.     ex chainstore means that the clothing was originally made for one of the major UK High street chainstores, but for various reasons, such as cancelled orders, discontinued lines, overmakes, late delivery etc...we are able to buy the excess stock direct from the Manufacturer, and because we buy direct, we are able to buy at a fraction of the original store price.

Q     Why are the store labels removed?

A     The store labels are removed, or cut, or blacked out, in order to protect the reputation of the original High street chainstore, and to prevent unauthorised store returns.  These are usually removed by the Manufacturer, or by ourselves before sale.  Disposal of these ex High street garments must be treated sensitively and responsibly.  All store branding must be removed before sale, and they must not be advertised except as "ex-chainstore".

Q     If the store labels are removed, how can the customer tell which chainstore the garments were originally made for?

A     These ex chainstore garments are easily recognised by their high quality and their style.
